Delete your Koki account

1. Open the Koki app.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Open Settings.
4. Scroll to Danger zone.
5. Tap Delete my account and confirm.

If you cannot access the app, email hello@kokiafrique.com from the email address linked to your Koki account. Use the subject line “Delete my Koki account”.

When your account is deleted, Koki deletes or permanently removes access to:

• Your account profile and email address
• Saved recipes and favorites
• Recipe ratings connected to your account
• Authentication sessions and tokens
• Personal cooking history stored with your account, if any

Already-published community contributions, such as approved recipes, translations, corrections, and approved photos, may be kept so the Koki recipe community continues to work. When kept, these contributions are anonymized and are no longer publicly connected to your account or personal contact details.

Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Database backups may be retained for up to 60 days before automatic deletion. Server logs, if any, are anonymized within 30 days.
